Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She has won numerous awards for her roles as Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively in Nashville (2012). She was the lead character Jerrica Jem Benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up in Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister, Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was as valedictory address of class 2012. Harvard University accepted her but agreed on entry twice the second time to accept her role in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). Peeples was a part of the TV movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was a major player for the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. In 2019, Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of the nation's top young actors.
